MAAV: Software Lead
9/2025 - Present
Michigan Autonomous Aerial Vehicles, also known as MAAV, is a student project team here at the Univeristy of Michigan.
Our mission is to create competitive autonomous drones capable of autonomous flight, computer vision and computer networking.
I am currently the software lead and working on designing the software for a fleet of drones capable of competing in the IARC mission 10 competition.
To streamline the recruitment process and provide a seamless experience for prospective members, I set up a auto emailing service using Google
Apps Script to provide new members with the necessary information to get started and introduce them to each subteam, helping them identify their best fit.
Our team strives to build a fun and inclusive environment for all members, regardless of status by organizing team dinners, team game nights, as well
organizing field trips. We hope that our team environment allows members to build a sense of camaraderie and collaboration that
helps us work better not only as an engineering team, but also get along as a massive group of friends.
Toyoda Gosei North America: Data Science Intern
5/2025 - 8/2025
Toyoda Gosei is a global manufacturere of automotive components with headquarters across Japan, USA, and more.
Between May 2025 to August 2025, I worked as a data science intern. One of my first projects was streamlining data workflows
in Microsoft Fabric, setting up data warehouses in order to transform, analyze, and pipeline data,
creating a unified hub for efficient data processing. I also worked with machine learning models during my internship, namely using a Recurrent Neural Network in order to
forecast future data readings by analzying historical trends. At the end of the internship program, I presented my
progress and projects in a slideshow to my supervisors and fellow interns.
During my internship, I also got to visit many other Toyoda Gosei facilities, such as their technical center to learn about how they conduct
their many rigourous safety tests, and also got to visit their manufacturing plant to see in-person how parts are mass produced.
Technische Universitat Berlin: Study Abroad Student and Blogger
5/2024 - 8/2024
Technische Universität Berlin is one of the premier technology focused universities in Germany.
I studied robotics programming in a lab for 6 weeks learning robotic techniques like Kalman Filtering
and Predictive Modelling. In the end, I was able to create a robotic segway that could self-balance itself.
As a fun bonus, I blogged my entire study abroad experience, including my weekend trips to Amsterdam and Prague,
as well as all the fun activities that I shared with my fellow Wolverines such as spontaeneous soccer matches,
barbecues, and museum trips! You can find it my blog linked below.
Michigan Data Science Team: Project Team Member
9/2023 - 4/2024
Michigan Data Science Team is Michigan's premier data science club. During my time on the Michigan Data Science Team,
I worked two major projects. The first project was a Ecommerce webscraping python tool and the second was a
neural network that I coded from scratch to detect network instrusion.
I also got to attend exciting Data Science events, getting to meet with company reprsentatives as well as alumni
to learn about all the different ways that Data Science can have real-world tangible impact across many diverse
fields such as Financial Tech, Real Estate, and Cybersecurity.
